Pennsylvania High School Teacher Abuses 2 of Her Students Over Years: District Attorney's Office

Authorities say a Pennsylvania high school social studies teacher has been charged with more than 150 child sex abuse counts after they say she sexually abused two students over a three-year period.

Prosecutors say 33-year-old Randi Zurenko, of Millerstown, was also charged on Thursday with dozens of counts including institutional sexual assault and unlawful contact with minors.

Prosecutors say Zurenko sexually abused two Bishop McDevitt High School students while she was a teacher at the Harrisburg school.

Prosecutors say she had inappropriate contact with one student in 2013. They say she sexually abused a second student from early 2015 to mid-October.

Prosecutors say Zurenko admitted she had a sexual relationship with the second student.

Zurenko has been placed on administrative leave.

It's not known if she has a lawyer.
