Incumbent U.S. Representative Dwight Evans (D) has won the race for Pennsylvania's Third Congressional District, NBC News projects.
Evans, 68, defeated Socialist Workers Party challenger Chris Hoeppner to win his fourth full term in Congress.
The third district encompasses the majority of Center City Philadelphia, and parts of Northwest, North and West Philly.
A previous version of this story identified Chris Hoeppner as a Republican. It has since been corrected to reflect he is a member of the Socialist Workers Party.
