Old City Ice Cream Shop Is Tops in Pennsylvania

If you're looking for the best ice cream in Pennsylvania, look no further than Old City.

The Franklin Fountain at 116 Market St. in Old City is the best ice ice cream shop, according to a list by Business Insider.

"The Franklin Fountain brings back the authentic soda fountains of old-school Philadelphia," Business Insider said. "Folks from all over Philly come for sundaes, splits, cups and cones at the beloved shop."

Business Insider's list was based on Foursquare users' likes, shares and other factors

Owned by brothers Eric and Ryan Berley, The Franklin Fountain can also be seen at this year's Spruce Street Harbor Park as one of the new culinary additions along with Federal Donuts and Garces Group.
