Off-Duty Officer Shoots, Kills Armed Robber: Police

An armed suspect was in the process of robbing an elderly man when he was interrupted by an off-duty police officer, according to investigators. After some words were exchanged, the suspect allegedly refused to put his weapon down and that’s when the officer opened fire. The suspect later died from his injuries.
