New Jersey Car Wash Worker Dies After Being Caught in Crossfire of Shootout

Authorities say a 34-year-old man working at a car wash in Newark was caught in the crossfire of a gunfight and killed.

NJ.com reports that Zoungo Sou-Oud, of East Orange, was killed after the shootout Sunday afternoon.

Essex County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Thomas Fennelly says that Sou-Oud and two other men were found suffering from gunshot wounds.

The other two victims were taken to University Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Police didn't identify the other two men, who are 33 and 22.
