A Monmouth county music teacher is behind bars tonight, accused of spanking a student.
Frank Dilberto, Jr., of Manalapan, was arrested last night and charged with sexual assault of a child under 13 and endangering the welfare of a child.
Prosecutors say Dilberto was spanking the student over the past few months for his own sexual gratification.
Dilberto is a guitar teacher at Musician's Workshop on Route 9 in Manalapan.
He is being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution on $200,000 bail.
A judge ordered Dilberto to have no contact with the student.
