An autistic New Jersey teenager who had been missing for a week has been found safe in Ohio.
The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office says 19-year-old Michael Karwan of Marlboro was located in Cleveland Tuesday night.
Officials say there's a continuing investigation and that they would not provide other details immediately.
Earlier in the week, the teen was reportedly spotted at a Port Authority Bus Terminal on Nov. 19 in. Marlboro, N.Y. State and federal authorities believed that the 19-year-old had mistakenly traveled to upstate New York after he intended to return to his hometown, which shares the name.
His mother, Theresa Karwan, also told ABC 7 that Michael had left his cellphone, credit cards and money behind.
