Police are searching for a suspect who they believe is targeting dogs in Lancaster, Pa.
Lancaster Online reports that a girl and her father found two large chunks of meat with nails loosely attached to the bottom.
The discovery was made Monday morning around 8:50 a.m at the Buchanan Park Dog Park. Police say the girl and her father brought their dog to the park and found the meat lying in the grass inside the fence. The dog wasn’t hurt in the incident.
Police are unsure how long the meat was lying there. Lancaster Online also reports that a resident plans to put up signs warning people at the dog park to use caution.
