Police are in search of two men, possibly white or hispanic, who robbed a Wachovia bank in New Hope on Tuesday, January 27 wearing ski masks – one man was armed with an automatic weapon, the other a rifle.
Surveillance pictures show one of the men wearing a black ski mask, a dark winter jacket, black gloves, and carrying a dark-colored automatic weapon, possibly an Uzi. He was also wearing a dark-colored small tool bag with two horizontal white stripes and lettering on the side, possibly the word "Husky."
The man’s sidekick was wearing a camouflage-colored ski mask, a light-colored winter jacket, black gloves, and carrying a rifle.
The men fired several shots while inside the bank but, luckily, no one was injured, according to police.
The masked men fled the scene in a late-model white four-door sedan, possibly a Ford Tauras, with an unknown Pa. registration.
The Philadelphia Division of the FBI, the New Hope Police Department, and the Bucks County Detective Bureau are asking for your help in finding these men who they are considering to be armed and dangerous.
If you have any information call the FBI at 215-418-4000, the New Hope Police Department, or the Bucks County Detective Bureau. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
