Officials have issued a warrant for the arrest of a man for the deadly home invasion that took place in the Wynnewood section of Lower Merion Township early Sunday.
Kelvin Roberts, 42, is wanted for murder and burglary. He has been charged with second-degree murder, robbery, conspiracy, as well as related charges.
He has been identified as one of the men seen leaving the scene after a mother and son were shot inside their home.

The son, 25-year-old Andrew Gaudio, was found deceased suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. His mother, 61-year-old Bernadette Gaudio, was conscious and also suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
She was taken to the hospital where she underwent surgery and is in critical condition but expected to survive, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.
Bernadette was the one who called 911 after 2 a.m., saying she’d been shot. As officers responded they saw a white Hyundai Azera, driven by Roberts, fleeing the area and began tracking it. The vehicle has Pennsylvania Registration 24963 PD.

"He may be armed and dangerous," Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele said about Roberts.
One of his last sightings was when he was behind the wheel of this white Hyundai Azera, police said.
Detectives matched the vehicle to a residence on Sansom Street in Philadelphia. Police say the registered owner of the car is Robert’s girlfriend who lives on 5900 block of Samsom Street.
Police spoke to a juvenile at the residence and showed them a photograph of the suspect in the Hyundai Azera. The juvenile identified the person as Kelvin Roberts.
Also found on dash camera footage was a green Jeep Cherokee, later revealed to be owned by one of the victims, found leaving the scene. On Sansom Street, the Jeep Cherokee was identified and recovered for processing, according to the Montgomery County DA's office.
Police returned to Roberts last known address on Samsom Street in West Philadelphia on Monday, a home that was also searched Sunday night.
Steele said they found a jewelry box at Roberts home that Bernadette identified as hers which is how they linked him to the home invasion.
"We can’t tell you specifically right now whether this was random or targeted," Steele said at a news conference on Monday.

At the time of the deadly home invasion Roberts was already a wanted man.
Roberts already had warrants out for his arrest for stolen property in Montgomery County and a burglary in Philadelphia.
"He’s wanted on a theft by receiving stolen property charge out of North Wales. He's wanted for a burglary out of Philadelphia," Steele said.
Police say in the North Wales incident he broke into a house on Pennsylvania Avenue in September and stole electronics and gaming equipment.
Those items ended up at a Cheltenham pawn shop. NBC10 spoke with the owners of that pawn shop who said they had not seen Roberts before he came in to pawn the items. Once they learned they were stolen they turned everything over to the police.
Roberts criminal record goes back to 2003 in Montgomery County.
Abington police arrested Roberts on gun charges where the serial number of the weapon was destroyed, according to court documents.

Law enforcement officials are looking for at least two suspects, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office. They have not named the other suspect they are searching for.
US Marshals are now in on the search for Roberts and his accomplice.
“These guys have guns. So, we’re concerned, and we’re concerned for everybody’s safety," Montgomery County DA Steele said.
While investigators believe Roberts swapped the plate on this Subaru just before the Lower Merion home invasion, it’s possible he is still driving it, and officials want people to be on the lookout for that car.
Police are working on tracking that second suspect and trying to determine why Robert’s and his accomplice targeted that specific house on Meredith Road.
Law enforcement officials says if you see Roberts, do not approach him just call 911.
Lower Merion police have more patrols in the area of the neighborhood that was targeted and unmarked units as well.
The District Attorney’s Office is offering a $5,000 reward for information on this defendant that leads to his apprehension.
