Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting death in Southwest Philadelphia.
It happened Saturday around 3:22 p.m. on 54th and Gibson.
Police say a 56-year-old man was shot once in the right buttocks. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at 3:49 p.m.
No arrests have been made and police currently have no suspects.
No word yet on the identity of the victim.
