A man is recovering after he was shot in South Philadelphia Thursday morning.
The 28-year-old man was shot once in the torso on the 1300 block of South 33rd Street at 9:24 a.m. He was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition.
No arrests have been made, no weapons have been recovered and police have not released information on any suspects.

The shooting occurred near a building that houses several businesses, including Grays Ferry Early Learning Academy, a day care for infants, toddlers and pre-K students. The owner of the day care told NBC10 they immediately placed it on lockdown at 9:20 a.m. and notified parents through their messaging app. The lockdown was lifted around 10:45 a.m.
The owner said the parents picked their children up at the normal pickup time at 4:30 p.m. that afternoon.
