A man died from his injuries after he was shot in Southwest Philadelphia.
The unidentified man in his early 30s was shot four times along the 6000 block of Chester Avenue around 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday, police told NBC10. He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 12:18 a.m. on Wednesday.
A weapon has not been recovered and no arrests have been made. Police have not released information on any suspects.
There were 266 reported homicides in Philadelphia in 2024, the lowest amount in a decade, according to police data.
