Authorities are searching for three masked men who allegedly pistol whipped and robbed a 56-year-old man in the city's Huntington Park neighborhood during a violent home invasion Sunday.
Three masked men broke into a home on the 4300 block of N. 8th St. just after 3:30 a.m. and jumped on top of the victim, covering his mouth, while he was sleeping in bed, police said.
The 56-year-old victim woke up, was asked for money and was struck in the face with a gun. His closet was raided shortly after, according to investigators
Money hidden behind a mirror was stolen during the break-in, the victim told police.
The man's 36-year-old daughter who was sleeping in the house woke up and called police.
All of the suspects are Hispanic men last seen wearing dark clothes.
The victim suffered minor injuries.
