Lehigh Valley Health Network, Jefferson Health announce plan to merge

The Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health and the Allentown-based Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) plan to merge into one regional health care system next year. The two signed a non-binding letter of intent to create an integrated care delivery system, a national research university and an expanded not-for-profit health plan.
