Police in Pennsylvania say the mother of three young children taken from a meth-lab trailer is now in prison facing drug charges.
Officers arrested Abby Burd, 24, of Mount Carmel, Pa. after they say she had been supplying Sudafed, an ingredient used to make methamphetamine.
Authorities also saw one of the children toddling around the area of the Nescopeck, Pa. -- about 110 miles northwest of Philadelphia -- home where the drug was being cooked.
Department of Children and Youth caseworkers say they discovered the alleged lab while they were investigating a report of drug activity at the home.
Police have not yet received the results of medical tests conducted on the three children to determine their exposure to the drug.
Burd faces reckless endangerment, causing a catastrophe, conspiracy to operate a meth lab and related drug charges. She remains in Columbia County jail in lieu of $75,000 bail.
