Keep an eye out for no parking signs as street sweepers are making a comeback in 14 Philly neighborhoods

The city’s “Mechanical Cleaning Program” is focusing on areas with the highest concentration of litter such as Kensington, Point Breeze and South Philly. The goal of this program is to make the city cleaner and greener, however getting this job done means moving cars off the streets. Parking enforcement begins April 29 and violators may be fined. NBC10 spoke with community members regarding the program.
