Police in Philadelphia are investigating after a man was killed after being struck by three vehicles that then fled the scene on Saturday night, officials said.
The crash happened on the 6100 block of N. 10th Street just before 9 p.m., police said.
According to police, at that time a 52-year-old man was in the running lane on the northeast corner of 10th and Spencer when he was struck by three vehicles, that officials said, were following each other, headed west on Spencer Street and making a left turn onto 10th Street.
All three vehicles -- a white van, a black Dodge Durango and a light-colored sedan -- struck the man and, police said, none of the drivers stopped to render aid or check if the victim was injured, before all three sped off northbound on 10th Street.
