Historic East Point Lighthouse temporarily closed to the public after dispute over money

Instead of celebrating the 175th anniversary of the East Point Lighthouse in New Jersey, volunteers helped clear out the historic landmark and museum. A dispute over money surrounding the lighthouse led to operational control switching from the Maurice River Historical Society to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. The site is temporarily closed to the public at this time. NBC10’s Ted Greenberg explains further.
