Guardian Angels Help with Coatesville Arsons

Patrols starting Thursday night

Guardian Angels were set to start patrols on the streets of Coatesville Thursday night.

It’s the latest attempt to snuff out the city’s arson emergency.

Already this year there have been 15 arsons. The most destructive fire was set last Saturday. Fifteen row houses were destroyed, leaving dozens of people homeless.

State, federal and local investigators are working the case.

Guardian Angels from New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia will help with the patrols.  A spokesperson for the group says anxious residents asked for the Guardian Angels to help.
