Flames Engulf Bucks County Barn, Killing Horses and Chickens

An overnight fire in rural Bucks County claimed the lives of several chickens and two horses.

A small barn housing the chickens and horses on Saw Mill Road near Sugan Road, in New Hope, became engulfed in flames overnight, officials said. Firefighters were called to the scene at 3:46 a.m., according to the Bucks County Fire Marshal. When they arrived, the structure was fully engulfed in flames.
