Firefighters extinguish fire at South Philly apartments, bakery

Fire crews could be seen working to put out a fire at a building in South Philadelphia Thursday afternoon.

Around 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, SkyForce10 captured images of fire crews working on the roof of a building located along Iseminger Street, near 13th Street and Oregon Avenue.

Smoke could be seen pouring from the building and billowing into the sky around the area as crews worked to extinguish the fire.

Fire officials said the building houses Carangi Baking Company on the first floor and apartments on the second.

Arriving companies saw fire and smoke on the first floor that extended to the second floor, according to fire officials.

Around 2:12 p.m., fire officials said that the fire was under control. The Fire Marshal's Office is on scene and will determine the cause and origin of this fire.

Officials said there are no reported injuries.
