Firefighters Put Out Fire Truck Fire

A blaze broke out over the weekend in an unexpected place.

Firefighters in Allentown, Pa. had an extra challenge while responding to a house fire Sunday: They first had to douse a blaze on their own truck.

WFMZ-TV reports the crew was responding to a fire call Sunday when flames broke out near one of the rear wheels of their ladder truck. They were able to put out the fire quickly.

The truck has been removed from service and will be repaired.

Investigators say heavy use and the truck's brake line may be to blame for the fire.
