The eastbound lanes of Route 422 near Lower Providence Township were closed for hours on Thursday because of a brush fire.
A brush fire closed a portion of Route 422 in Pennsylvania on Thursday afternoon, according to officials in Montgomery County.
The fire happened just east of the Oaks exit off of Rt. 422 in Lower Providence Township, officials said.
Eastbound lanes of Rt. 422 were closed for hours as crews worked to battle the fire.
