Philadelphia police are searching for the suspect who trapped and then stole over $800 from his victim inside an elevator.
The incident happened on November 20 inside an office building in the 4400 block of Holden Street in West Philadelphia.
The suspect was on the elevator with the 54-year-old victim and waited for several others to exit.
Once he was alone with the victim, the suspect blocked the man from exiting and a struggle ensued.
During the altercation, the suspect stole $836 from the victim and fled through the fire escape.
The victim was not seriously injured.
