A dump truck appeared to lose its load of what looked like sand while colliding with a van along a Franklin Township, Gloucester Count, road Thursday morning.
Crews in Gloucester County, New Jersey are working to clean up a spilled load of sand after a dump truck crashed along Stanton Avenue and Coles Mill Road in Franklin Township early Thursday.
SkyForce10 was over the incident at about 8 a.m., to capture images of a dump truck that had seemingly spilled a load of sand across the side of the roadway. A damaged white van sat next to the overturned dump truck.
Officials said Thursday that the crash happened just before 7 a.m. as a van travelling southbound on Stanton Avenue entered the intersection at Coles Mull Road and collided with a dump truck that was headed westbound on Coles Mill Road.
The impact caused both vehicles to flip before they landed in a nearby field, police said.

Two men -- a 31-year-old and 42-year-old, both passengers -- were extracted from the van after the crash and officials said that they were both airlifted to a hospital where they were listed in critical condition.
The driver of the van, a 55-year-old woman was taken to a nearby hospital after suffering injuries to her neck and hips, officials said.

Police did not report any injuries to the 51-year-old man who was behind the wheel of the dump truck at the time of the crash.
Officials said that this incident is still under investigation, and, charges are pending against the woman who was driving the van depending on the result of the police investigation.
