Woman Bound With Duct Tape, Robbed at Airport Hotel

An armed man tied a woman up with duct tape and robbed her at an airport hotel this afternoon.

Philadelphia Police say officers were called to the Extended Stay America Hotel along the 9000 block of Tinicum Boulevard around 4:40 p.m. Sunday.

The armed suspect tied up his 22-year-old victim with duct tape then stole her cellphone, a white Hewlett-Packard tablet and a small amount of cash, according to Philadelphia police.

Luckily the woman wasn’t hurt during the attack.

Police didn’t reveal exactly where at the hotel the assault and robbery occurred.

The woman told investigators her attacker is in his 30s, about 6-feet tall and weighs around 250 pounds. He wore a track jacket and black short with two yellow stripes on the sides at the time of the robbery.
