District Council 33 votes to authorize strike, floods streets around City Hall

Philadelphia’s largest union for city workers voted to authorize a strike. Members of District Council 33 flooded outside of City Hall Wednesday afternoon, blocking the roads. The union represents thousands of blue-collar workers, including sanitation workers.
