Delaware Woman Arrested on 3rd DUI Charge After Fire

A Delaware woman convicted of drunken driving twice in the past two years has been arrested on new DUI charges after police say she set a car on fire.

Delaware State Police said Monday that they arrested 58-year-old Doreen Bowman of Ocean View late Saturday night after they responded to an intentional car fire at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Ocean View.

During their investigation of the fire, police say Bowman returned to the club and was arrested after giving a false name and smelling of alcohol.

Bowman now faces her third DUI charge, and other charges of criminal impersonation and resisting arrest. She's also charged with offensive touching stemming from an unrelated Oct. 28 incident involving a fight with another woman.

It's unclear whether Bowman has an attorney.
