Computer-related and health-care jobs are leading Delaware's jobs recovery. That's according to state labor economist George Sharpley.
Sharpley told The News-Journal that the sector with the most want ads in February was computer and mathematical occupations, followed by health-care. The economist says the numbers come from an online aggregator of want ads.
"The skills of the individual, and experience, matter, especially in this economy," Sharpley told the News-Journal.
Delaware's unemployment rate is 7.0 percent, according to the latest figures released Friday. That's down two-tenths of a percent from the previous report.
Despite the drop in the jobless rate, Sharpley says the figures still show there are about two job seekers for every want ad.
