Traffic was being rerouted on Monday morning after two tractor trailers and another vehicle were involved in a deadly crash along Interstate 78 in Lehigh County, officials said.
According to police, two people were killed in a crash involving two tractor trailers and another vehicle, that happened along I-78 in Upper Saucon Township, around 5 a.m.

As of about 7:25 a.m., traffic along the eastbound lanes of I-78 was being rerouted along Route 309 while police investigated the incident.

On Monday morning, shortly before noon, the Lehigh County Coroner's Office released details on the two individuals who were killed in this incident.
The office said Nicholas James Bolotine, 30, of East Cocalico Township, was killed when a tractor trailer he was driving struck another tractor trailer.

The second individual that was killed, the coroner's office said, was a man who was pushing his vehicle off the roadway when he was struck by a tractor trailer. The coroner's office said officials were still working to determine this man's identity.
Also, law enforcement officials said four other people were inured in this crash. The severity of their injuries were not detailed by police.
The roadway reopened to traffic at about 11 a.m., on Monday, officials said.
An investigation is ongoing, officials said.
