State and county authorities are investigating the death of a man found shot in a car in Montgomery County.
Officers responded to report of a suspicious vehicle on the 400 block of Jefferson Avenue in Pottstown shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday when they found the body of a 20-year-old male in the driver's seat.
The victim suffered at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead the scene, according to police.
The 20-year-old victim's identity hasn't been released.
Police at the scene said they had opened a homicide investigation, but an autopsy would determine the cause and manner of death.
