Neo-Nazi Brother to Get New Sentence in Parents' 1995 Killings

Bryan and David Freeman were given life sentences after killing their mother in 1995. Bryan Freeman could get a reduced sentence due to a new ruling.

A man described by prosecutors as a neo-Nazi skinhead who admitted to fatally stabbing his mother in 1995 is getting a new sentence.

A Pennsylvania appellate court ruled Monday that Bryan Freeman is entitled to a new sentence under a U.S. Supreme Court decision banning automatic life-without-parole terms for juvenile killers.

Bryan Freeman and his brother David Freeman were minors when they killed their parents in their Salisbury Township home.

The ruling sends Bryan Freeman's case back for re-sentencing, with a decision on David Freeman's case likely to follow.

Lehigh County prosecutors say they expected the decision.

Prosecutors said Bryan Freeman stabbed his 48-year-old mother Brenda Freeman, and David Freeman bludgeoned their 54-year-old father Dennis Freeman. Their 11-year-old brother Erik was also fatally beaten.
