Easter Fire Damages Several Bucks County Homes

Four homes are gutted as firefighters continue to put out hot spots at the scene of a fire in Morrisville, Bucks County. NBC10’s Aundrea Cline-Thomas has details and reaction from neighbors.

Flames destroyed four homes in Bucks County on Easter Sunday.

Crews responded to a fire at 137 Park Avenue in Morrisville, Bucks County around 3:30 in the afternoon. Upon arrival, crews found one home fully engulfed in flames and a second with heavy fire on the second and third floors.

According to Chief Matt Wiedenhaefer of Morrisville Fire Company, there were reports of someone trapped in the first home, but this was found to be false.

When the smoke finally cleared, four homes in total were lost in the blaze.

Wiedenhaefer said firefighters had water issues but were able to place the fire under control using river water to put out the flames.
