Youβll want to keep a jacket and umbrella handy on Sunday, as Motherβs Day starts off dry but cool before scattered showers move in by the afternoon.
That means you may want to treat mom in the morning, as showers start moving in between noon and 3 p.m. Most of the rain will fall in Philadelphia and northward, though neighborhoods further south could also get a few isolated showers.
The Lehigh Valley and Berks County, meanwhile, are the most likely to get steadier rain.
The showers are expected to start slipping southward by around 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., and the entire region could get hit-or-miss rain throughout the night.
