Police Arrest NJ Murder Suspect in Florida

Authorities say a Camden teen facing a murder charge in the death of a 34-year-old man has been arrested in Florida.

Camden County prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo said Friday in a statement that 18-year-old Samuel Lopez was arrested by U.S. marshals and the Volusia County Sheriff's Office Thursday in Deltona, Florida.

Lopez and Reymond Pagan have both been charged with first-degree murder in the September slaying of Jose Franco.

Authorities say Franco was shot during a robbery in Camden on Sept. 27. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he died on Sept. 28.

Pagan was arrested on Dec. 3.

Lopez is currently being held in Florida awaiting extradition to New Jersey.

It's unclear whether Lopez and Pagan have attorneys who can speak for them.
