An investigation is underway after a body was found floating in the Schuylkill River in Southwest Philadelphia Monday evening.
The body was discovered shortly before 7 p.m. in the river near Bartram’s Garden Dock & Community Boathouse.
A witness, who did not want to be identified, told NBC10’s the body appeared to be of an adult with severed legs.
Police continue to investigate.
