A plan to build a 350-foot tall vertical roller coaster on Atlantic City's boardwalk received approval.
The Press of Atlantic City reports that the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority last week approved the project for a 1-acre lot where the Sands casino once stood.
Florida developer Joshua Wallack says the rollercoaster will also include a nightlife component, including a bar.
Wallack wouldn't comment on the timeframe to complete his plans, but says he wants to have it open as quickly as possible.
