7 Dogs, Drugs, Stolen Motorcycle Removed From Possible Dog Fighting Ring

One of the animals had lacerations, according to investigators.

An SPCA investigator says seven dogs, drugs and a stolen motorcycle were removed from a possible dog fighting operation in Germantown.

The officers arrived at a home on the 6300 block of Norwood Street Tuesday afternoon where they found several dogs inside. Investigators suspect the animals were being used in a dog fighting ring though they have not yet confirmed this.

The officers served a search warrant and removed the dogs as well as drugs and a stolen motorcycle. One of the animals had lacerations, according to investigators. They also say a home next to the property was covered with blood. Police continue to investigate. No arrests have yet been made.
