As police officer applicants at the Jersey Shore shrink, departments layout more strategic recruitment

Although it is a quiet time of the year at the Jersey Shore, police departments are trying to expand their ranks for the summer. However, that mission has become a growing struggle and some departments are now developing a new strategy to get more boots on the ground.
