Anti-violence mentor sentenced to 10 years for gun trafficking in Philly

A former anti-violence youth mentor is going to spend 10 years in federal prison for gun trafficking. He was sentenced for selling illegal firearms from South Carolina on the streets of Philadelphia. He was one of seven people involved in the scheme to move firearms up the so-called “iron pipeline.” He once worked for the NOMO Foundation who released a statement saying he is no longer connected to the organization in any way.
