Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a restaurant in downtown Philadelphia overnight.
The robbery happened about 1:15 a.m. at the Tria Café in the 1100 block of Spruce Street in Center City.
According to Philadelphia Police, the night manager of the business was counting money in a basement office when two suspects entered the office and forced him to the ground. The manager told investigators one of the suspects placed a hard object to the back of his head and threatened him.
The suspects forced the victim to open a safe inside the office and they took an estimated $3,500 in cash.
The incident happened after the business closed for the night. Police said the suspects entered the business through an open sidewalk cellar door that was left open by another individual who was taking out large containers of trash.
Investigators said one of the suspects concealed their faces -- one with a ski mask and the other with a bandanna.
A spokesperson for Tria Café released a statement that read in part:

There were no reports of any injuries. The suspects remained on the loose Monday afternoon.
