β€˜Arctic Blast' Blows in Saturday Night

While Saturday morning has light snow turning into rain, the "arctic blast" of cold coming later in the evening could make roads slick

While Saturday morning had light snow turning into rain, an "artic blast" expected later this evening could make roads slick.

A wintry mix of snow and rain is expected throughout the early evening hours. Temperatures will still be above freezing so expect wet roads.

By 10 p.m. a wind advisory will be in effect as winds pick up as temperatures drop into the teens making any expected flurries and moisture on the roads dangerous Saturday night.

It will be windy and cold overnight, snow ends but chills could be in the single digits or near zero briefly by Sunday morning.

Light snow began falling in parts of the Philadelphia region Friday night and has continued through Saturday morning. The temperature is above freezing and roads are warm, so the snow did not stick.
