Feeling the Warmth at St. Paddy's Parade

It's that time of year for kilts, bagpipes and people wearing green.

About 10,000 people marched in the 40th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Belmar and Lake Como on Sunday.

The threat of snow didn't deter spectators. They watched 21 pipe bands, six school bands, a string band and 15 floats.

Pipe major John Hatton with the Old Bridge Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh band told the Asbury Park Press he thinks warm thoughts when wearing a kilt in the winter.
