Crews Rescue Man From 30th Street Station Tracks

Crews rescued the person from the tracks early Monday morning.

Crews rescued a man who fell on Amtrak tracks at Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station Monday morning.

The man – who wasn’t immediately identified – fell off a platform onto the tracks below around 5:05 a.m.

Temple University student and MSNBC intern Stetson Miller witnessed the aftermath as firefighters and police jumped into action and got the man off the tracks.

Medics took the man -- who Miller said appeared to be in a lot of pain -- to Hahnemann Hospital where no condition was made available.

The next train to New York left a few minutes late following the incident, said Miller.
