Women Sprint From South Philadelphia Toys R Us After Stealing Baby Items

Police released video that shows three women who picked up baby items at a local toy store and darted out of the South Philadelphia store without paying.

You can see in surveillance video released by Philadelphia Police Friday three women making a dash for it after swiping baby section items from a South Philly Toys R Us store last month.

The suspects took items from the baby section of the store at 2703 S 3rd Street. The women appeared to be shopping as they walked normally through the store before reaching the exit, where their pace sped up to a full sprint.

Although one of the suspects entered the store with a shopping cart, by the time the women had taken the items off the shelves, she was no longer using the shopping cart.

Video cameras captured the women as they walked past the registers without paying and eventually set off the security alarm while they exited the store. No employees were at the registers while the women went past with the stolen goods.

The women ran through the parking lot and made their escape in a blue Honda Accord.

Police have yet to catch the suspects and have turned to the public for help identifying them. If you recognize the women please contact Philadelphia Police.
