A driver threatening another driver with a gun led to a crash on Roosevelt Boulevard that left a third driver in critical condition, Philadelphia police said.
The incident occurred Thursday around 7 p.m. in the area of Rising Sun Avenue and East Roosevelt Boulevard. Police said a vehicle was traveling eastbound on the Boulevard when it rear-ended another vehicle.
The driver of the second vehicle then got out and pulled out a gun, police said. The driver of the first vehicle then drove away in an attempt to flee and ran a red light, crashing into a third vehicle on Front Street, police said.

The driver of the third vehicle was taken to the hospital and placed in critical condition.
Police have not yet revealed if the driver who pulled out the weapon is currently in custody.
Footage from SkyForce10 showed several damaged vehicles in the area of the crash. Rescue personnel, a fire truck and people curious about what happened could also be seen.
