Philadelphia Police released video Wednesday of a Kensington robbery where the thieves made off with more than just money.
Police said they also stole the cashier's gun during the Sunday night heist inside Frie’s Mini Mart on the 200 block of E Westmoreland Street.
Surveillance video shows two suspects — one in a tan puffy jacket and the other in a gray vest and black hood — walking robbing a 41-year-old cashier.
According to the police, the masked man in the vest spoke Spanish and demanded money from the register and the victim’s handgun. After the employee handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and his gun, the two suspects fled the store.
Police described both suspects as thin men in their 20s, standing around 5-foot-7-inches tall. they were last seen heading south on the 3200 block of Kip Street.
