A pair of 15-year-old teenagers are recovering in the hospital after being injured in separate shootings across Philadelphia on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024, police said.
According to the police, a 15-year-old girl was injured in a shooting that happened near the 2500 block of N. 29th Street just before 5 p.m. on November 17.
The girl was shot once in the stomach and was transported to the hospital where she was placed in stable condition, Philadelphia Police Inspector D.F. Pace said.
However, police have not said what led to the shooting, there was no scene and no weapon has been recovered.

Then, a little more than two hours later, a 15-year-old boy arrived at a hospital in Philadelphia after he was injured in a separate incident, officials said.
According to police, the boy was taken to the hospital by private vehicle at about 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, after he was shot in the left arm and right finger.
Police said this teen was placed in stable condition.

In this incident, officials said that they have not yet identified where the shooting occurred and no weapon was recovered.
No arrests have been made in either of these incidents.
Both shootings are under investigation, police officials said.
