Part of the Northeast Extension was shut down after a 13-car pile up Friday afternoon.
Police blocked off northbound traffic between the Mid-County toll and Lansdale at about 2:30 p.m. after the multi-car crash occurred.
All traffic attempting to go north on the Blue Route was being redirected eastbound on Pennsylvania Turnpike 276.
The road opened back up at about 5 p.m., but there continue to be massive traffic delays in the area.
There is still no word on what caused the crash or if there are any injuries.
